1992 - Boris Dlugosch live at Front, Hamburg
Liveset from the German pioneer of House music and former resident DJ of the infamous club Front, Boris Dlugosch.
Dlugosch's breakthrough with Project Booom, were the UK hits Keep Pushin (1996) with vocals by Inaya Day and Hold your Head op High (1997). However, his remix of Sing it Back from Moloko (1999), became a real worldwide hit.
In his early years Boris was a heavy metal drummer and a Italo Disco enthusiast, but more than that he was a club music adept. Especially club Front, where pioneer DJ Klaus Stockhausen played a crucial role in the European pre-House electronic dance music culture, varying from Electro Funk, Hi-NRG, Italo Disco and New Wave to Synth Pop. In 1986, at the age of 16, Boris Dlugosch became a DJ at club Front and started creating his own unique Garage and Deep House sound.
In 2001 Boris won the German national award of the best DJ.
