November 18, 1995 - Derrick Carter live at Chemistry in the Escape, Amsterdam


Derrick Carter on a Saturdaynight at Chemistry in club Escape, Amsterdam, recorded between 3am and 5am. The night was broadcasted live by the Dutch radiostation 3FM from midnight till 6am. Untill 3am Tommy van Huystee stood behind the decks followed by Derrick.

DJ en producer Derrick Carter, born on October 21, 1969 in Chicago, started at the age of 9 with playing disco records on family reunions. In 1987, when he just had finished highschool, he released his first single "Love me Right", with vocals of Kim Sims, under the pseudonym 'Conception'. 

The single "Mood" which he produced with Mark Farina and Chris Nazuka under the name 'Symbols and Instruments'  was released in 1989. Other tracks they released were 'Science of Numbers' (1989) en 'Teardrops of Yesterday' (1990).
