January 23, 1998 - Adam Beyer live at club Omen in Frankfurt
Liveset from the Swedish techno DJ and producer Adam Meyer, recorded in 1998 at club Omen in Frankfurt, Germany.
In 1990 he bought his first set of turntables and started spinning a wide range of hiphop, hiphouse, acid and techno at local parties and clubs. In 1992 school friend Peter Benisch introduced Beyer to the sampler which resulted in a record deal with New York based Direct Drive one year later..
His first solo record was Drumcodes 1 (Planet Rhythm 1995), which can be described as hard, percussive and loop oriented. This 12" was soon followed by his critically acclaimed debut album Decoded (Planet Rhythm 1996).
After many releases and remixes on various labels he launched the second album Protechtion (Drumcode 1999), with techno that was more melodic oriented, but still with a focus on the dancefloor.
