April 30, 1992 - Marusha at Mayday "A New Chapter of House and Techno" in Cologne

Liveset from Marusha, recorded at the second edition of Mayday at the Eis und Schwimmstadion in Cologne, Germany.

The first Mayday Event was organised by DJ Dick, his brother WestBam and the magazine Frontpage to support the radio station DT64.

DT64 was the first German radio station broadcasting Techno and Marusha had a weekly show called Dancehall. The station was important because it gave a wide audience of young people access to this 'new' music genre.

DT 64 was shut down but despite the success of the event on 31 December 1991 in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and on 1 January 1992 in the Berlin-Brandenburg. Renowned DT-64 radio presenters, including Marusha, went to ORB youth radio station Rock Radio B.
