December 18, 1992 - Kenny Ken live at Dreamscape 5

Liveset from the Britsh Drum & Bass DJ Kenny Ken, recorded at Dreamscape 5 At the Evolution in Bond Street, Hull. More then 20 DJ's were present this night at two different floors with about 2000 party people.

During the mid- to late 1990s, Kenny Ken became one of the U.K.'s prominent drum and bass DJs, owning and operating the Mix 'n' Blen label. During this time he earned respect throughout the scene and gained popularity for his diverse and entertaining DJ sets. He started DJing in 1989 during the acid house movement, inspired by the early warehouse parties. He rose to prominence with his first big track, "Everyman", in 1994.

His first big break came as a result of him being a regular attendee at Crazy Larry's, an early Sunday morning rave. The organizers also promoted the Crazy Club at Busby's where Kenny became resident DJ alongside Ray Keith and Jumping Jack Frost. He soon would become resident DJ at Sunday Roast and A.W.O.L., during which time he started producing his own music.
