Corn Exchange (Leeds)


The Corn Exchange, built for the corn trade, was and is the heart of Leeds City Centre. The first dance event in this shopping centre was "D-Day 1" in June 1990. The Ark, a Leeds based clothing shop, held party's at the location of their shop and also SOAK hald some party's in the shopping centre. One of the most memorable regular night at the centre was  'L'America' a Garage House music party with the best  DJs from America and Britain. At the first party on April 10, 1993 Todd Terry, David Morales and Paul Oakenfold stood behind the turntables.  In total 32 events were held at the Leeds Corn Exchange.
