Essential Mix studio session from Brititsh DJ's Ralph Lawson and Lisa Loud. The theme of this Essential mix is Back To Basics club in Leeds where both played in the early 90's. Ralph Lawson even started his DJ career at Back To Basics in 1991.

In 2009 Ralph Lawson (Leeds, UK) has been nominated by DJ Magazine as "Best British DJ" and "Best Label" with his label "2020 Vision".

Lisa Loud can be regarded as a true pioneer in electronic dance music and is known for her tribal/techno house. She started her career in 1987 at Virgin Records, where she stood at the base of many popular bands like Massive Attack, Soul II Soul, Inner City and Neneh Cherry. Stimulated by Paul Oakenfold, she started her own DJ career in 1989.
