Rave Satellite (Germany)

The German radioshow Rave Satellite was hosted by Marusha.

It started in 1990 on radiostation DT64 as "Dancehall". The station was important because it gave a wide audience of young people access to this 'new' music genre.

Westbam and DJ Dick, who was Marusha's boyfriend in those days, organised the first Mayday event in 1991 to support the German radio station DT64.

Despite the succes of  the event DT64 closed in 1992 and moved to Rockradio B under the name Rave Satellite. From 1993 till 1997 it was broadcasted on Radio Fritz.
